Kurdish political inclination; Among the indigenous Kurds in Cihanbeyli and Kulu, support for DEM derivatives is almost fifty-fifty. Indeed, Cihanbeyli exhibits over half support; we would not be surprised if it achieved a majority in the next general election. Kulu leans more towards Conservative-Right. The Yunak-Çeltik vicinity can be directly characterized as a Conservative-Right electorate. Significantly, Yunak-Çeltik belongs to the Canbeg tribe, while Cihanbeyli-Kulu predominantly belongs to the Rişvan tribe. Ereğli shows a Center-Left inclination due to its Alevi population; the center, however, has a mixed demographic due to migration. According to current data; -%90,4 Turkish -%8,2 Kurdish -%1,4 Other It ranks among the provinces with the highest population growth in the national registry across Turkey and leads its own region. In two northern districts, citizens of Kurdish origin reside, while Turks constitute the majority in all other districts.
